One of those mornings it was snowing hard. I looked out of my studio window and there were robins everywhere. They were in the trees, on the ground, in the fields. I took some photos to show them to you. They seem to be the heralds of Spring, coming just at this time, between spring blooming trees and between winter.
Robins like to listen. They listen for insects and they especially like worms that they can hear moving under ground.
Notice how similar the colors are in these two birds, both have the same brick red markings along with gray. Look at where these two birds have black markings as well.
Aren't they amazingly beautiful!
